3rd Gen hardest catch so far

    ok so last night I decided to scoop up my 3 legendary birds.
    Articuno was releatively easy I used my Persian and Ninetails and Lapras
    to do it, I got it in the red with my persian before it got knocked out
    then I paralyzed it with body slam (lapras) and then I used Ninetails as a
    wall and let loose with the ultra balls, it took 7 to catch it.

    Zapdos I faught with Persian and Venusaur I got it in the red
    and then I switched to venusaur and put it to sleep it took about
    9 ultra balls to catch

    but when I got to Moltres
    (I had spent all my money to buy 99 Ultra Balls, just to use on the
    LEGENDARY pokemon and anyway I'd only used up 16 balls.)

    so anyway I get to Moltres and I use my Raichu, I thunderwave it
    then I hit it with hunder bolt once and switch out to Ninetails (perfect wall)
    it used endure so I took it down to 1 HP and it was Paralyzed
    and it kept busting out I went from 83 Ultra Balls to 14 left by the time
    that thing actually stayed in the ball...that was anoying.
    Anyway this happened 3 times 'cuz I get gettin' natures I don't like
    In the end I got one with a bashful nature and decided that was enough
    and so I kept it.

    but i'm thinkin' if they're so hard...I wonder what Mewtwo's gonna be like.
     
    Well, if you're like me... you'll just have to buy lots more Ultra Balls and keep trying. If you're not like me - and like to use your Master Ball - then just throw the **** thing and you'll capture it. Either way you should get a Mewtwo eventually... I mean hopefully. :/
     
    yeah there not that hard to catch. just bring enough ultra balls.
     
    i got lucky on moltres, i started out with my vaporeon and surfed the sucker, but it used endure so it had 1 hp left. then i switched to raichu and paralyzed it. it only took like 4 balls i think. i caught all the rares (including mewtwo) with ultra balls. i used my master ball on a shiny gastly XD. that's how cool i am. now when i send out my ghastly it's like the fourth of july with all the sparks and blings it gives off.
