have you ever jinxed it?

    every body's heard of the saying yeah, I jinxed it... have you ever jinxed something while playing a Pokemon game what I mean is for example, I would say outloud "as long as my Pokemon doesn't miss, I'll win this battle" then my Pokemon misses and I lose because the other Pokemon attacked and beat mine... then I would say outloud "I jinxed it" has anybody else have a similar situation or whatnot, share your, "I jinxed it" stories

    This happens to me all the time, especially in the Battle facilities. It's like Pokemon knows that I would say something like that and they just do the complete opposite.

    The worst time I can say that this has happend was when I was in the Battle Arena. I was at my last Battle (for the Gold symbol) and my Pokemon (Blaziken) misses its Blaze Kick against the Heracross (if that was her Pokemon) and I was soo close to winning, and it misses; Heracross uses his final move and then I die and lost.

    I jinxed my friend. He found a shiny wild Pidgey and asked me if he should hit it one more time before he threw a Poke Ball. I said "Yeah, just don't get a critical hit."

    He got a critical hit and KOed it.

    This actually works in reverse for me all the time. I'll play the mixed train and say something along the lines of,
    "He's doing 123 damage per shot, you'll never make it out of this round!"
