My first post in this section!
Made this deck completely for fun and to bug the heck out of a few certain people.
That being said, I'm sure someone with experience could make it just a little bit more fun. I don't have access to a lot of cards, particularly not from newer sets, but if you think of an older card, a newer common/uncommon, or a funky promo that isn't wildly rare, there's a fair chance I'll have it or can get it from a trade. At the moment it's thrown together almost entirely from spare parts from other decks, as I'm too lazy to dig out the rest of my cards.
Fingers crossed I'm reading the set symbols right.
Pokemon:
2X Rattata TR (lovin' me some Psychic resistance)
1X Rattata RR
1X Rattata SW
3X Raticate SW
1X Raticate RG (mostly there for Thick Skin)
1X Clefairy SW
1X Clefairy DP
1X Clefairy RG
3X Clefable JG
2X Sentret SW (nahaha grope)
1X Furret SW
1X Ditto FO
1X Mr. Mime JU
1X Uxie LA
1X Sneasel N1
Trainers:
4X Energy Removal
2X Bebe's Search
2X Super Energy Removal
2X PlusPower
1X Strength Charm
1X Pokemon Fan Club
1X Pokemon Trader
1X Potion
1X Switch
1X Gust of Wind
1X Rare Candy
1X Roseanne's Research
1X Wally's Training
1X Windstorm
Energy
4X Darkness (special)
3X Darkness (basic)
4X Recycle
5X Psychic
2X DCE
1X Multi
(I'm assuming that's 60, haven't taken it apart and counted in a while)
Basic idea is to do a lot of damage for little energy, either by using Metronome/Copy on a big-hitter or getting lucky with Gnaw Off on something else. Rare Candy is there for those times when the stars align and you just NEED Raticate out in one turn - Sneaky Attack or Sneaky Attack with a PlusPower/Strength Charm take out a reasonable percentage of Basics in one hit.
Furret and Uxie have HP and get me cards when the deck isn't giving me any energy.
Mr. Mime can stall for a little while if necessary, or use Meditate to finish off just about anything big that's been hit with 70 from Raticate.
Sneasel ... c'mon, I just like Sneasel.
ER/SER are in for psychological warfare (nobody likes old Base ER, even if they have plenty of energies) and to give Clefable and Ditto a little edge over the big scary Pokemon they're copying.
Yes, the deck relies fairly heavily on luck, but I'm good with that - I don't play in tournaments or against anyone particularly serious.
Supporting Pokemon and Trainers are what I'm most flexible about. :D
