Heartgold team help

    hello, first time posting here! I am new to pokemon and my group of friends are having a tournament at level 45 in heartgold to see who is the best. 10-11 people are doing it and im the newest of them all, my team so far is Oh-ho, gyrados,ariados,mamoswine and an alakazam. i know pretty much everything from sweepers natures and IVs and so on and so forth but i do not know how to compose a great team that works together:). Could you guys help me out?
