I've never played a ROM hack yet.

I guess I want to try it. I've only played regular pokemon games in the past.

Looking forward to trying Volt Yellow whenever I have downtime or just relax.

PC as in windows only or Mac compatible as well?

I use a MacBook pro laptop.

I don't know if they all have a Mac version, but some do! Like Insurgence, one of the best fan game in my opinion! You can also try looking for Solar Light Lunar Dark, and Zeta / Omicron. And, if you are into top level battles and hard puzzles, Reborn!

How do I check for games like these?

I want to play classic-type Pokemon games with gym leaders, rivals, Pokemon league, etc.

Are there any completed/finished games no longer in Beta?

Guess I'm gonna show my age here... lol

I have played

Red/Blue/Yellow
Gold/Crystal
FireRed
HeartGold
Black
Y
Sword

The most enjoyable for me were Crystal, HeartGold, and Black. Those were the best for me.

Yes, I'm a fan from the beginning... aka older

Charmander/Squirtle/Bulbasaur

Lol, all three. Which is why I like Volt Yellow's concept.
