Hello from Planet Unown

Hello, my name is *points at username* and I am a new member here (obviously).

As I have stated in the New Users Hangout, I have been a member of many different Pokémon sites, but I never really stuck around for any of them, with the exception of Pokémon Crater, a wonderful Pokémon community with a fun online version of the game we all know and love. It was really unfortunate when it and its fan-created successor were shut down, but let's not dwell on the past, shall we?

Using the "skills" I gained from being a member of PkmnCrater, I often make fakemon by mismatching two or more unrelated Pokémon and recolouring them. That is what my avatar is, and I hope to have a new one up soon with multiple fakemon (alas, many of my better creations were lost somewhere in the moves I have made between multiple operating systems, so this might take a while).

I plan on sticking around for a long while to come here in the PokéCommunity, and you'll probably get to know me better as time goes on, but here are a few things I think you should know about me:

1. I am what some people call a "Grammar Nazi"
2. I am not a morning person, do not expect me to reply to any posts earlier than 12:00 PM EST.
3. I still go to school, as I'm sure many of you do, so during the week days (excluding this week, as it is March break here) I will not be on earlier than 3:30 PM EST.
4. I still have not completed Leaf Green/Fire Red (but I'm working on that now) nor HeartGold/SoulSilver (" " " " ") but I have fully finished Pearl (but not Platinum, doh!)

Planet Unown, eh? I figured Unown were from a different planet~ Anyways Mr. *points at username* welcome to Planet PokeCommunity. :3 There were many asteroids along the way, soooo... I hoped you cut your way through with a boost! (star fox reference...meh.) I remember pokemon crater; I used to play it all the time! Like the first version; I used to had like, all 250 pokemon in the same party. @-@; Its a fun online game. <3

I haven't really made any fakemon myself, just some sprites lke the one in your avatar. The Pixel Art board is where you can show off some sprites you made; you just need at least 15 posts to post links. Anyhow, I'm not as much of a grammar nazi myself, though I prefer to type in good grammar, I'm not too picky on other's grammar. Gah, you know, I wasn't such a morning person myself. D= But I STILL have to get up at 2:00 in the mourning to go to work. ; ~ ; Its easy, but it seems hard. =/ Its spring break over here too. :3 Just started in fact! I haven't played LG in a long time...it was alright; not my favourite, but fun. <3 Incedentally, my favourite happends to be pokemon black. :3 Now for the sake of showing you around, you can, if you want, check out the Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum board, where you can chat about D/P/Pl with others. <3

ANYWAYS! I DEARLY HOPE THIS IS ONE YOU'VE ANTICIPATED! I really need the ability anticipation. ;; Life can be so unpredictable... I hope you see you again BTW; and you can ask a staff member a question, if you have any. :3

Heh, thanks for the reply, it's cool to see such a welcoming response right after I've joined (when I join a forum, it typically takes at least a day before I get any response; however, this is a Pokémon Community, after all, not just your typical forum).

I see you like to use emoticons. I myself enjoy using them, though not to the extent of your post. ^^;

Heh. Yeah, you'll see me around alright, just give me some time and I'm sure you'll see a little bit of me in each forum.

EDIT: Well, I don't know if anybody else will check out this thread, but I edited my avatar to show more of my creations. It is a little busy, but I'm sure you can make everything out (including my single-tailed trainer, Matt!).
