Heyah everyone! im just another pokemon essential game creator who is a bit irritated when the hybrid female character (Kris when in the map, May when she is selected) miraculously transforms into Red... first time i played I was like "wtf didnt i choose a girl?" im on my way to fix that though. =P

How did i stumble with this forum, you ask? Looking for things for PE, i found HUGE chunks of info on this website. Coincidence? i think not. This is by far the largest and most discussed forum about this engine ive seen in the first 10 pages of google. And best of all, the creators post or posted here so i guess there is no reason why shouldnt i join

I am spanish. I like pokemon, you like pokemon. You teach me and I teach you... okay, lets not get into that opening, i dont like it that much... >_<

My idea is to make a version where there is no female counterpart and the main character is Red.

Basically, create a game based on pokemon adventures. once i achieve it, the next step will be make the gold and silver parts. but thats another story, lets first focus on this one...

Apart from that, little things i have to say about pokéys... i had a huge collection of plushies, and my fav gen is the last i played for economic reasons: G/S/C. now im gonna buy HG for my DS when i have the occasion :)

B-but.. the Pokemon Aventures series is based on the original games already. o_o

Unless you wanna take every single happening/character development from the manga, and stick them in the game. Which.. might actually be pretty awesome, honestly. XD Sounds kinda beast. The concept is neat, at least. I wonder if there's a way to set the player/rival names so that people can't change them? > > I like.. have the player name forced as Red, and the Rival's name as 'Green', so that it fits with the story? idk.. hacks / fan games are above my head. xD;;

the concept i wanna make is to make it as accurate as the manga, however, i have to keep reading it (im on book 2 xD)
GREEN? but isnt that the girl? oh wait... thats right. the names are switched on the american version... and ive been reading the american version, lol.
Yeah i think there is a way, im currently researching how to make Red as the default character and Bl... I mean Green as the default rival.
Which reminds me, i dont know ruby, so if anybody knows it and is reading the topic and is willing to help it'd be much appreciated, lol
