HELP!!!
I don't know what to choose!! I have ties in many subjects and we can only do 4 AS and 3 A2! AND MY ENTRY FORM'S DUE DATE IS NEAR!!!!Though my teacher told me that they thinkg I can cope well with 5 subjects, that wasn't a very big help.

Ok...I am definately studying Art, Biology and Chemistry.
So, the remaining 2...

Maths?
Further Maths?
Physics?
Design and Technology?

????

Oh, I want to b either Marine Biologist/ Vet/ Genetic Engineerer when I grom up, so I am going to study BioChem/ Vet in University.
But A level options are driving me mad, I haven't have a good sleep since last week=.=||||||

I think that no one has replied to this because:

a.)No one knows what you are talking about.
b.)This is a personal decision that you should decide with you and your family, not people on a Pokemon message board.

I know what you're talking about, since it's basically the British thingymbob to the American "finals" or whatever on earth you call it over there. I would choose Maths and Physics, since it's better to have a wider range of subjects than just an extension of one. Maths is always looked for, and a science should help you if you want to be a marine biologist.

I'd choose Physics and Maths, but I don't know how your maths system works. In Australia, "Further Maths" is the dumb maths, but take the more advanced maths class, if you can do that without taking the other one. If you have to take both, do that, because you already have two other sciences and you can pick up some Physics from Maths.

I never learn to my own decisions, so I had to ask ppl.

(It was the members of Hong Kong Pokemon Alliance who chose my subjects for GCSE :P)

Further Maths is basically really hard maths that you're never going to use, but looks good when you come to get a job. Unless you really like Maths, don't go for it. But... yeah... You really should try and make some decisions which may affect the rest of your like by yourself, or with family. :P

And Piro? Just because you don't know what jynx is talking about doesn't automatically mean that everyone else doesn't.

Yeah, maths and further maths arent useful skills -you'll never use them again XD
Physics i enjoyed -learning about the forces that act within the universe, and about nuclear weapons etc ^^
DT is cool, since artistic skills are always fun to use in the future, and give you a useful hobby ;)

hm...most of my friends choose physics and maths for me.

But my teachers chased me around to persuade me to do their subject, and it is too much to choose from. >.<"

They always do that. When I was choosing my GCSEs, my German teacher was pleading with me to take German, since I was good at it (but I absolutely hated it). I didn't take it... and I don't regret it. But, it should be completely up to you to decide what to choose. Not your teachers.

i chose maths cuz im at a level nowe and im finding it simple *so far* i heard further maths is easy too but i got a bunch of smart arses in my class (sorry if that was a curse) physics is good to becausee they help you whatever your profession

Good! So I can study 5 subjects together.

When I picked my VCE subjects (A-level equivalents) I chose Maths Methods (your normal Maths), Specialist Maths (your Further Maths equivalent), German, Physics, Chemistry and English which is compulsory, but I did Methods in year 11. With those job choices you put there I don't think Physics is really going to help you and two sciences really is enough.
