okay so im facing off the elite four ( 1st one )
and my team is as it follows...
thyplosion lvl 48
ho-oh lvl 49
staraptor lvl 41
torterra lvl 38
dolphan lvl 34
and poliwag lvl 13 ( currectly training :P )

so if you have time can you
. tell me what types i should take/have
. tell me if i should train more
etc...

In-game teams aren't allowed here. Anything in-game will work as long as you train enough and vary their moves for coverage. I'd probably suggest having your Torterra know Crunch as it'll help for the first Elite, level up some more, make sure Poliwag is up to speed with the rest of your team, and you will do fine.
