Help! I need a MARILL!

If anyone would be willing to trade a Marill level 10 or up that they DO NOT NEED over GTS for my level 16 Raticate, please trade me! I would prefer those who have Japanese games, but US games are fine, too. I need a Pokemon that can learn surf.... My Trainer's name is Kevin (Pokemon HeartGold). Thanks!

1, i'm lazy, and 2, it's too hard for me to find.... i need a pokemon that can use surf so i can go to cianwood......

1. Don't make multiple spam threads, as this isn;t on topic anyway.
2. Any water Pokemon works. Catch a Tentacool.

yeah, okay, i agree, but i still need to find an old rod or something so i can find one.......

You can get an old rod from the fisherman in the Pokécenter on Route 32 (the route down Violet city). You can also catch Tentacruel there.

The good rod (way better), is obtained by finding the fisherman in Olivine city (you don't need surf to get here).

Marill is only found in Mt. Mortar. I agree it is very rare (1%!). The best option would be to wait for a swarm to increase the % to 20.

Although as stated above, any Water Pokémon works for Surf (bar Magikarp).
