Help identifying mystery Pokemon cards.

    I found my collection of cards tonight and I am unable to find out where they came from or what they are.

    The collection is old and the cards are marked as "Pocket Monsters" 1996 Nintendo, GameFreak, and Creatures, Inc. The cards are in Japanese. Some are numbered. The illustrator is Ken Sugimori.

    If anyone has any clues as to what these might be, please reply.
     
    That seems really vague. If I'm not mistaken, all japanese Pokemon cards have the "Pocket Monsters" logo on the back. They would all be labeled "1996 Nintendo, GameFreak and Creatures, Inc", be numbered, and the artist is almost always Sugimori.
