I'm not concerned about format. I don't really care about tournaments, I just want to beat the crud out of my brother's Aggron EX. I'll use a Fossil Aerodactyl and a Power Keepers Omastar if I like. And that's what I plan on doing.

Will this deck work at all?
Here are some cards I definately want to use:

    Mysterious Fossil
    Omanyte (PowerKeepers-56)
    Omastar (PowerKeepers-20)
    Aerodactyl (Fossil-1)

Basically, I want to weaken the enemy signicantly by de-evolving them to their basic forms with Omastar and then lock out their evolutions using Aerodactyl and then continue to sweep the enemy away with Omastar's Hydrocannon.

I am also thinking of using Cradily (Sandstorm-3) to sweep Basic Pokemon away by luring them in and then draining their health, since many basic Pokemon, like Squirtle can't take out Cradily easily when it keeps gaining HP. With Aerodactyl out, Cradily also keeps Poison in play, except with use of a Full Heal card or Rare Candy. In addition, most fire Pokemon that can take out Cradily can be beaten by water from Omastar. Lileep (Sandstorm-42) is a searcher too, and pretty nasty if you get a heads on its second attack. Cradily-ex (AquaMagma-90) seems interesting too, but the energy cost is pretty high, so I don't know.

I'll probably need Switch / Balloon Berry since fossil Pokemon are sort of heavy and they have hefty retreat costs.

Fossil Egg (NeoDiscovery-72) can bring out Omanyte and Aerodactyl straight away. Wally's Training can evolve my Mysterious Fossil from the deck and Rare Candy can BAM! evolve straight to Stage 2.

The problem which I think sticks out the most is the lack of Basic Pokemon, so maybe a searcher and then a big tank like Chansey to back it up. Scoop Up? -_____-
Meh. I probably didn't do enough thinking with this, but tell me how well you think it would work and maybe some cards which I might be able to add.

You'll probably tell me that it won't work, though x___x

So, you want to build a deck huh? Use at least 10-15 Energy, for example, 10 of one type of Energy and a couple or 4 DREs.

dont tire urself...buy typhlosion ex deck!

aggron ex is definitely a pain in the ass

i got this card but when my opponent has it then im totally kick off, unless you focus on the weakness
since i have it and it does help me a lot
i once got 5 metal energy on it and it totally wipe out my opponent's entire team lol

to deal with this card, simply arrange some good energy discarding pokemon since metal energy is limited in a deck

focus on some solid fire and fighting basic
that will do damages to the aron or lairon

use much opponent switch card too
once the aron is out immediately switch it to become active and finishes it one shot

use metal resistant pokemon as well

    hopes it helps lol
