[Other] Help me fix Wifi not turning on [Firmware error - Asus Zenfone AR - Verizon]

    Hello, I have the Asus Zenfone AR [V570KL] that blocks the usage of WiFi outside of US, it gives away an error about wrong country code [when outside of US]. I can't unlock bootloader because it's Verizon = no root. I should be able to edit the firmware and flash the edited rom though, the problem is I don't know where to search for the files to edit.

    In build.prop there are these lines that may be connected with this:

    ro.product.locale=en-US

    ro.product.locale.region=US

    ro.boot.wificountrycode=US

    The third one looks the most promising. Are there any ways I could change build.prop without rooting and/or unlocking bootloader? That would be much safer than flashing an unsafe ROM and bricking my device. Thanks in advance.
