ok I've decided to stick with this team
so far they've all been raised to Lv. 20
so now I'm gonna need a bit of help with their moves
Here's what I've got so far, and I'm gonna go with
    Frosty's suggestion for skarmory

    Skarmorny - Skar
    -Keen Eye-Lonely-
    @???
    Swift
    Agility
    Steel Wing
    Aerial Ace

    Pineco = Forretress - Tanker
    -Sturdy-Naughty
    @?
    Strength
    Giga Drain
    Earthquake
    Selfdestruct

    Bedlum - Metarach
    -Clear Body-Brave
    @???
    Psychick
    Metal Claw
    Brick Break
    Shadow Ball

    Aron - Pangea
    -Rock Head-Adamant
    @???
    Aerial Ace
    Body Slam
    Rock Tomb
    Metal Claw

    Magnemite - Neutron
    -Magnet Pull-Rash
    @?
    Sonic Boom
    Metal Sound
    Thunderbolt
    Supersonic

    Onix - Meterra
    -Adamant-Rock Head
    @??
    Return
    Screech
    Earthquake
    Rock Throw

that's what I have so far, I'm gonna take the suggestion already made
for some of the pokemon namely Skarmory

I was wondering since both skarmory and forretress can learn spikes
would it be really bad to have them both know spikes & toxic?

Let's see, I can definately help with some of these.

    Skarmory@Leftovers
    Nature:+Def, - Sp Att
    EV: HP 252, Att 129, Def 129
    Spikes
    Whirlwind/Roar
    Toxic
    Drill Peck/HP Ground

    Metagross@Leftovers
Nature: + Def, - Sp Def
    EV: 129 HP, 252 Att, 129 Speed
    Agility
    Earthquake
    Meteor Mash
    Psychic

Contains a surprise for anyone expecting a pure physical sweeper. Good as an anti-pseudohazer.

    Aggron@Liechi Berry
Nature: + Att, - Sp Att
EV: 252 Att, 129 Def, 129 Sp Def.
    Thunder Wave
    Rock Slide
    Aerial Ace
    HP Poison

HP Poison = another surprise, and an excellent anti-Ludicolo.

    Magneton@Salac Berry
    Thunderbolt
    HP Fire
    Supersonic
    Lock-On

HP Fire gives you a way to damage other Steel types. Lock On/Supersonic for confusion fun :-) Houndoom is this Pokemon's worst enemy

Pure Steel teams are very vunerable to Fire types, so be warned. Since you have Skarmory I'd recommend you drop Forretress for Scizor.

    Skarmorny - Skar
    -Keen Eye-Lonely-
    @Leftovers
    Spikes
    Whirlwind
    Drill Peck
    Toxic
    *Standard

    Pineco = Forretress - Tanker
    -Sturdy-Naughty
    @Leftovers
    Rapid Spin
    Explosion
    Protect
    Earthquake
    *Anti-Spiker.

    Metagross - Metarach
    -Clear Body-Brave
    @Liechi Berry
    Earthquake
    Meteor Mash
    Explosion
    Agility
*I like it when Metagross blows up...

    Aggron - Pangea
    -Rock Head-Adamant
    @Leftovers
    Substitute
    Focus Punch
    Thunder Wave
    HP Ghost

    Magnemite - Neutron
    -Magnet Pull-Rash
    @Leftovers
    Thunder Wave
    Metal Sound
    Thunderbolt
    HP Ice

    Steelix - Meterra
    -Adamant-Rock Head
    @Leftovers
    Earthquake
    Roar
    Explosion
    Rock Slide

Standard moves aren't the best when the situation is so different such as all steep team...

    Skarmory- [atk or speed + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers
    EV: atk, speed
    -Drill peck
    -HP ground
    -spike
    -roar

Never understood what's so good about toxic on Skarm when other attacks tend to be more effective...

    Forretress- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers/quick claw
    EV: atk, def, hp
    -earthquake
    -HP Bug
    -spikes/rapid spin
    -explosion/rapid spin

    *Metagross- [sp.atk + / atk -] @ lum berry
    EV: sp.atk, def, hp
    -psychic
    -HP Special
    -meteor mash/agility
    -explosion

Besides Magneton, Metagross is the next possible steel type special attacker (well since Registeel didn't seem to be included for this team). Special movesets for this case only...

    Aggron- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ leftovers
    EV: atk, def, hp
    -focus punch
    -HP Ghost
    -thunder wave
    -substitute

    Magneton- [sp.atk or speed + / atk -] @ quick claw
    EV: sp.atk, speed
    -thunderbolt
    -HP Special
    -thunder wave
    -metal sound

    Steelix- [atk + / sp.atk -] @ quick claw
    EV: atk, hp, def
    -rock slide
    -HP ghost
    -roar
    -explosion

    lol it's almost a blow-up team...

Lol gengar really has made an impact.........
IMO spiking, roaring, resting and drill pecking skarm works wonders

as for magnaton u may want to consider thunderdancing for some variety but IMO frosty's moveset works the best.

thanks you guys, that really helps a lot.

...I'd completely forgetten about szicor...but what to replace 'cuz
    I really like skarmory

frostweaver I think the thing with skarmory and toxis is that
since it can learn spikes and it's releatively fast for a steel type
u can force u'r opponent to be switching out a lot 'cuz of the poison
    or whatever...I dunno

uh...what do you guys think of any of them having sandstorm
steel type doesn't get hurt by it remember?
is it any help at all??

    if you're getting Scizor, I'll take out Aggron as that thing has poor poor types x_x;

Steel types maybe immune to sandstorm but i dont' think it's worth the slots to insert it really...
