    when i try to play a gbc rom, patched or unpatched on my visual boy advanced, the screen turns black, nothing happens, then when i click the options on the top of the menu they turn white, and it freezes. can somebody tell me what to do?
     
    Well I don't play GB/GBC roms on VBA, because I have problems of them liking to drop to 70% speed.

    Get BGB or KiGB
    (i'd link you except i'm not sure if that's allowed, not real familiar with the rules here)
