4th Gen Help with Houndour

    So, I'm on route 7 looking for a Houndour. I'm at the right area, it's night time (21:38) and I've been searching for about 40 minutes now....nothing but Murkrows and other Pokemon. I know he can also be found at the Safari Zone but that'll take too long, plus I don't want him at a high level.

    I was wondering if there's anything special to get him to show up. Is it not "night" enough yet? What's the deal..
     
    I think it's a swarm only pokemon.
     
    There is only a 5% chance, where Murkrow has a 35% chance. Just keep at it..
     
    Yeah, I hate when that happens. It's taken me over an hour to find rare pokemon at times. My suggestion: put on a movie that you like watching and keep grinding.
     
    Just keep searching. If you really want it, then you'll be determined enough to stand up against that large flock of Murkrow until you find the Houndour you're looking for. n_n; I usually hate it when that happens as well, but again, you just have to keep looking.

    Next time though, trying using the HG/SS Help Thread for simple questions as such.
