Help with Leaf Green team

I'm currently playing Leaf Green and I haven't beaten Erika yet (I have a Pidgeotto and a Butterfree, but I want a fire Pokemon right now).

My team currently consists of:
Level 27 Ivysaur
Level 26 Pikachu
Level 27 Butterfree
Level 27 Mankey
Level 26 Dugtrio
Level 26 Pidgeotto

I got the Eevee from the Celadon Mansion and I also caught a Vulpix. I was thinking about evolving Eevee into Vaporeon and replacing two members on my current team with Vaporeon and Vulpix...

Your thoughts?

okay first of all you should train your pokemon at least to the thirties. And don't evolve evee into vaporeon because your going to get a lapras not to far from now. And thats much better than vaporeon i guess you could get a ninetales but i think flareon would be better.

oh yeah if your just thinking about destroying Erika right now go and train your pidgeotto until its a pidgeot you should be able to cream erika

It's better not to post incomplete teams, IcyStorm. Plan out what you want your final team to look like. There's really no way to tell if a beginning team is good or not. And remember that all teams should have their moves listed. That's one of the rules of this forum.
