Help with some Evolution stuff

    I'm very new to ROM hacking and not a good programmer. I was wondering if it is possible to make a pokemon only evolve if it's the last one on your team, evolve if it faints, and make pokemon able to evolve in the middle of battle? Thank you for helping.
     
    No, no, and no. Trust me, it was hard enough for people to implement modern eeveelutions; evolution code is a bitch. There's no way even the most experienced person could do it.

    That is, unless you're willing to use the decomps but that's in raw C
