okay, i posted a hack on progressing hacks, but its not showing up. I posted it last night and it still hasnt showed up. What's wrong????

    Spoiler:

Just make sure you don't bug the moderator(s) by asking over and over. We don't like that, and it makes us less likely to respond. Like Team Fail said, wait at least 24 hours before PMing the mod.

Or maybe your hack just doesn't qualify for Progressing Hacks. If not, work on it a little. We used to have a sub-section called Crap- I mean "Scrapbox", but it became so worthless and crammed with piles of 1% completed hacks that it got removed.

After 24 hours, and baladamy doesn't see their thread up, then he can PM one of the moderator's of that forum asking if it had been looked at as of yet like mentioned earlier. If unapproved, the moderator will possibly notify the member themselves, or the member can PM them and ask for the reason behind it and improve on it afterward so it's approved and up the next time.

The rules in Progressing Hacks gives a good guide on what's expected before approval that the OP can look at, if he hasn't already.

That could have been solved by emptying said scrapbox if the hack did not progress within a month.

By removing threads that didn't improve within a month, you motivate people to either take up the scrapped hacks and finish them or let them be deleted.

Really, that suggestion is impossible. What exactly defines "progress"? What makes you think the moderator has time to go through and, um, remember what each thread was like a month ago? Emulation Mods have a busy enough job. Adding more stress and things for them to do doesn't help.

Besides, I don't think something like that would have saved it from its impending doom anyway.
