"Here's Lookin' at You, Elekid" Episode Discussion

    Here is where you can discuss both the return of Casey and the finale for James' Victreebel in "Here's Lookin' at You, Elekid."

    My review to come forthwith.

    And, of course, Reyna will do this week's D/P episode discussion, so watch out for that. If she can't, then I'll do it whenever I log on. Whoo.
     
    This episode is sooo funny! (although you wouldn't think it from the 1st 5 mins where Casey wants Elekid and TR steal it). The Magikarp Man reappearing is funny, Jessie and Meowth making James trade Victreebel is funny, him going melodramatic and crying all the time is funny, Victreebel biting *Jessie* is funny and the Victreebels screaming into the sunset and falling in love is funny XD

    Episode ruined by Casy singing at the end. She's not funny. I hate her.

    So really, Team Rocket made this episode good rather than the "special" reappearance of some filler charecter I hate. Haha. Although I think it was supposed to focus on them rather than Casey.

    Oh, the Victreebel subplot made the episode, no question. Complete with James' reactions. Yet, Jessie was perfectly willing to pitch the second Bel, especially after all the attacks she endured from the 1st one. So, that bugged me, plus the random 'love theme' ending. Shakes head.

    And we'll pretend Casey didn't exist, there. All she did was show off Elekid, really.
     
    Yeppie. It was only a good episode because it kinda ended the reign of Victreebel in the anime. Teeheehee Also it was just a way to show off the pokemon of the day but really the Rocket plot saved the episode. Teeheehee

    Su. Also it explained the endless question as in how James got it. Teeheehee I was always wondering how he got it. Which by now I have forgotten. Teeheehee

    Indeed. Wacky flashback, there. Although, it didn't explain how he came across it, just "watch me catch it!" Then again, I hadn't seen the episode in a while, so my memory might be failing, there.
