Hey guys, quick question.

Hey, I'm new to this site and was just wondering how all you guys get a hold of all these shiny Pokemon and starters and rare items. I live in an area where i cant get event Pokemon. Do I need a 2nd Gameboy to trade back a forth? I have Firered, Leafgreen, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. But my batteries in my games are nearly dead. Every time i wanna transfer over to Soul Silver, my game always corrupts.

All I need help with is some trade-evolve Pokemon and wondering if anyone wanna trade me Pokemon that i cant get in Black, including legendaries, but everybody always wants shinys. So i ask, where do i get all these shiny Pokemon? In my entire life that Ive been playing Pokemon since Red and Blue came out. Ive never encountered a shiny Pokemon lol. Also, Hi :). Help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the site Blade. In Red and Blue case there were not shiny pokemon until Gold and Silver, so I wouldn't waste my time there. As for were people find all these shines they either are lucky through random encounters, they Chain there pokemon, or RNG(which I don't know much about). There aren't really much rare items since most of them are located throughout the game at one place or another. If you are trading GBA then yes you need another one. If you are looking for some trades you can try here Trade Corner and from there since you are starting out I would suggest Quick Trade Thread. Also depending on what evolution you are seeking you might want to state if you have the hold item before the trade.
