    Obviously, I am new here, and want to get off on the right foot. So here are some things, mostly Pokemon related, about me.

    • I enjoy playing all but the Gen 4 Pokemon games. Why? I didn't enjoy the addition they added.
    • My favorite game was Pokemon FireRed, then Pokemon Ruby.
    • My all-time favorite Pokemon episode ever aired was Episode 17, Island of the Giant Pokemon
    • I love playing Roms of just about all games, but my most played are the Pokemon ones.
    • I would like to learn a ton about how to hack roms and kind of make my own personal Pokemon game.
    • My best team I ever had was all level 100's on Ruby. This team consisted of Groudon, Kyogre, Sceptile, Aggron, Swellow and Salemence.
    • I am very intelligent when it comes to scripting and other languages so Rom hacking would be a great thing for me to learn!
    Those are just some things Pokemon related thatI thought you should all know, seeing as how Ill be sure to stay here for a while.

    I do have a question though.

    I have Elite Map and Advanced Map and a few other things. What are some good script editing tools, perhaps easier than harder to use, that I can hack roms with? Thanks.

    Welcome to the community! We are always glad to have new members, or at least, I am. Unfortunately I am terrible at scripting games and it looks like a mess to me. Maybe you could teach me. For more info on hacking and such, look here: https://www.pokecommunity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=54

    Notice that there are sub-forums designed specifically for certain things.

    Welcome to the forums, Brenton. Like UltimaSilva said, check the Emulation section for hacking purposes. For a scripting tool, use XSE, which is found in the Toolbox section.

    Island of the Giant Pokemon was my favorite epsiode as well as young. However, in sweden we don't have english as first language so we had a narrator was translated all the things the pokemon said xD

    Actually to be honest so has all the Pikachu minis been my favorite episodes. Dunno why. Maybe because it's only about the pokemon :P

    Wow, never heard of this Groudon, Kyogre, Sceptile, Aggron, Swellow and Salemence. I guess i am not a master myself :P, anyway, welcome mate!
