4th Gen HG/SS Trading with other game

    So, My fiance's kids have HG and SS..and I have Leaf Green. We all 3 have DS's we play on but the kids are bugging me and wanting to trade. I know I can't get SS and HG pokemon on my game..but how do I trade my pokemon to them?

    Do I need a cable or something or do I have to use the migrate feature after I beat the 7th gym leader? I am kind of hoping I don't have to rush to trade with them but it seems I may have to.
     
    You can't trade, but you have to put your game into the gba slot of their ds then on there hg or ss select import from leaf green, then your fiances kids will go to pal park, that's how!

    In other words, yes you have to migrate

    Migrating is the only way to get Pokemon from LG to HG/SS, so it's a one way gig.
