I'm mostly looking for ideas for a few of my team, seeing what others think.
Mostly I just want to find out what other people think (people is not spelt 'poke'-, silly brain)

    Note that:
-my teammembers are either level 46 or 47 at the time of posting
-I also don't think that the Choice items are a usual in-game-use item, but meh. Until something better arises.
-I have only got badges 1-4

    Washiza
    Feraligatr (Choice Scarf)
    Hardy (Torrent)
    -Slash
    -Aqua tail
    -Ice fang
    -Crunch
    (Phys. attacker)
(raised on anything that moved on the first three routes (29, 46, 30); He had probably finished getting EVs by the time we fought our rival for the first time (seeings as he was a level 42 feraligatr))

Peh (V See end of post)
    Metagross (Metal coat)
    Sassy (Clear Body)
    -Iron head
    -Psychic
    -Hammer arm
    -Bullet punch
    (Phys. attacker)
(Typing and Metal coat, from what I can figure, gives bullet punch 72 base. Raised mostly on rattata for speed)

    Tokoro
    Togetic (Twistedspoon)
    Bashful (Serene Grace)
    -Extrasensory
    -Yawn
    -Wish
    -Ancientpower
    (Spec. attacker)
(Raised on ?. Yawn+Wish is awesome. It's probably the only reason I managed to catch Alkiths, my shiny pinsir (Shiny in the BCC. How to have a heart attack). Conundrum here, because I'd kind of like to have magical leaf, but... that means giving up extrasensory or ancientpower)

Yukure Hoshi (V See end of post)
    Larvitar (everstone)
    Gentle (Guts)
    -Crunch
    -Screech
    -Rock slide
    -Earthquake
    (Phys. attacker)
(Raised on ?. Has everstone simply because I don't feel like using pupitar. When she reaches level 54 I'll remove it)

Asahiaotsu (V See end of post)
    Growlithe (Choice Band)
    Hardy (Flash Fire)
    -Crunch
    -Reversal
    -Flamethrower
    -Flame wheel
    (Equal attacker)
(Raised on unown and wooper/quagsire only. Don't know why I haven't evolved her yet. Intend to replace Flame wheel with Fire fang once we get to Blackthorn. Reversal should probably be replaced)

Inaitaiyou (V See end of post)
    Pidgey* (everstone)
    Modest (Tangled Feet)
    -Twister
    -Roost
    -Wing attack
    -Quick attack
    (Spec. attacker)
(Raised on ?. TWO MORE LEVELS TO AIR SLASH. Then she'll be a pidgeotto, then pidgeot.)

    Bag hold-items:
King's Rock, lagging tail, charcoal, Choice Band/Scarf/Specs (x2, x4, x9), mystic water, magnet, leftovers, quick claw, poison barb, miracle seed, [power herb x6], Focus Sash (x6), hard stone, [white herb x7]
    Box h-i:
King's Rock (held by my arcanine), dragon scale (xhorsea, so three)
(In case any item changes are suggested)

    -~-~-

    EDITS
    All level 55

    Asahiaotsu
    Arcanine (Shell Bell)
    Hardy (Flash Fire)
    -Crunch
    -Reversal
    -Flamethrower
    -Flare Blitz

    Inaitaiyou
    Pidgeot* (King's Rock)
    Modest (Tangled Feet)
    -Twister
    -Roost
    -Air slash
    -Quick attack

    Peh
    Metagross (Metal coat)
    Sassy (Clear Body)
    -Meteor mash
    -Psychic
    -Hammer arm
    -Bullet punch

    Yukure Hoshi
    Tyranitar (Wide lens)
    Gentle (Guts)
    -Crunch
    -Screech
    -Stone edge
    -Earthquake

So many choice items. XD I'm going to speak in terms of when you do get more badges, aka what you should do along the way because there's nothing that can be really done at this moment (or alternatively go back to move tutors!).

For Feraligatr, there isn't much you can do right now, sadly. Though in the future, Waterfall can definitely be more useful, mainly due to the chance of flinching and that it has 100% accuracy, while Aqua Tail doesn't. Since you're using a choice scarf, you could always go back and ev it in speed (ev reducing berries!) and try Earthquake to quickly take out the electric opponents you're otherwise weak to, but if not I don't see many other issues with it.

For Metagross, you're better with Meteor Mash (for higher power) and Earthquake for coverage, since you can't do that right now, your attacks can work as they are.

If you're going with a Choice Band Growlithe, your attacks aren't really suited to it. :( When you get to Arcanine, you'll probably want to keep Fire Fang since you can't re-breed for Flare Blitz, Extremespeed to outspeed your opponents, Thunder Fang for coverage against water types (aka Misty @ Kanto etc) and a last attack, which is optional due to needing to breed for Morning Sun - either way, I suggest you do evolve it because it can hit a lot harder and be a lot more annoying!

For Pidgey/Pidgeot, you'll do a lot better if it's physical, rather than special. For that, you'd then have Brave Bird at least for a strong STAB attack (this means re-breeding the Pidgey though, sadly :x), U-Turn for switching out and Return for STAB. Although you may like Air Slash due to having a flinch chance, you're better off with something stronger for later on really, but since you can't get Brave Bird w/o breeding, then yeah you could keep Air Slash.

Since you're running a physical Larvitar, I suggest when it gets to Tyranitar to utilise one of your many Choice Bands (or to get another :x) and to consider going with Stone Edge instead of Rock Slide, mainly because Stone Edge has a chance of a critical hit and with it being a STAB attack already, you can just think of the power it has. Also on that set, it'd run pursuit to attack switching out opponents, but since that doesn't happen in-game you could go with Aqua Tail, the other physical choice that you'd choose between that and Earthquake with.

Good luck getting the rest of the badges and travelling Johto!

As I mentioned, I'm just running the Choice items until I get better items. Also, there's absolutely no way I'd ever get rid of any of my team because of the way I pick them (pretty much the same way I get friends in real life, but not quite, because it's instantanious and I don't feel any need to cower behind my other friends for weeks/months on end before it clicks)
And just by that last bit, be aware that I may ramble. This is me dissecting it for myself as much as anyone, as well as explaining certain choices.
So honestly the bit inbetween the breaks can be skipped.

My growlithe, when... whatever it is that clicks inside us clicks, we'll evolve and give King's Rock (that's why there's two of them), so that's Choice gone for her.
... coming back to the thing that clicks, and the reason I have an arcanine in my PC... I caught Asahi, then Inai, and then the growlithe-now-arcanine. I ignored the click with Asa because I figured that with her propensity with picking fights there would be chaos (I play for more than just game) when put with Washiza, and so, when there was a more subtle click I went with that. It was never quite right, she never quite fitted... and then I evolved her and it was unbearable. I raised her to level fourty, then swapped Asa into the team. And she fits. Thus explained is why I generally don't breed. And even if I do, I'm still looking for the click.
As for attack wise... Fire fang, Crunch, Thunder fang, Flamethrower... what is this, my houndoom? (No, seriously, that's the set I'm running on my Platinum Vr. houndoom)
Maybe switch out Crunch (ah, the pains of Favourite Move of a Type strikes again. Also the reason she's still running Flame wheel)

My pidgey... I didn't even originally plan on pidgey. But seriously, my game just... handing me a shiny pidgey was too good. As mentioned, a special attacker, and with my aversion to self harm moves...

My feraligatr... Interesting idea. Waterfall was never something I used in genII... or later. It somehow was relegated to about the same tier as whirlpool... I suppose the flinch is what makes the difference now. As for EV's a) I have none [EV berries], b) probably have quite a lot of speed anyhow: 9 pokemon to train against, 2 1HP givers, 1 1Def giver, 1 2Def giver, a 1Att giver and 4 1Sp givers, and c) he's got only five off the highest possible speed stat (115 of a possible 120 [level 46]), and that might be applied to IVs (his highest possible IV is 29SDef)

Metagross... Somehow I only just (earlier today, reading a Pokemon of the Week) noticed the use of Stat Up + Stat raising move... probably because I was so distracted with questioning why on earth the beldum line, which is blue and made of metal, has Clear Body, not Levitate, when, as with many pokemon... they obviously levitate. And aren't clear. Unlike tenta-line, which is jellyfish, and reasonable and not made of metal.

Larvitar... cannot GET aqua tail. Ever. Nor can tyranitar? So... ? (No, wait, there... Tutor, for BP... *goes to check SS* 12 BP... uh... Yeah. I was never really much for the Frontier. Alternately it's because in SS I'm adamant about using my whole team- of two- for EVERYTHING in that game) And there's a different way to run a first stage pokemon with a 31 point difference between attack and sp.attack? Anyway... Okay, I see the stone edge point (I'll have to wait out the chaos of Rocket, though, because I skipped over it in favor of keeping my higher-accuracy, more-PP all-opponent hitter- it seems more sensible when you realise how hard it is to train a pokemon when you're fighting things a lot weaker using a Slow Growth pokemon (Oh my god shroomish ;`-; The PAIN...)(Have you ever tried to raise a shroomish to level 54? The pain.) But for later, when she's all grown up and the training is done... definitely I can see the use of a move that stands a good chance of hitting for 300 damage... I... Hey, that's hilarious; If I just go with my prior plan and let her evolve into pupitar on level 54, she'll try to learn it again. Awesome.

    Maybe I should just start running all my Phys. attackers with King's Rock >`_>;

    SUMMARISE
    ...into something readable

Growlithe will be running King's Rock upon evolution, fire fang as soon as Blackthorn, and possibly be replacing crunch and reversal with... I don't know. Exteremespeed and thunderfang?

Metagross will probably get meteor mash over... iron head. I suppose (because I am not giving up bulletpunch when it suits him so well.) Eathquake>Hammerarm?

Washiza gets waterfall over aqua tail. We have a spare King's Rock. FLINCH EVERYWHERE!

Pidgey = Sp. Attacker (though the stat difference is way, WAY smaller than Yukure's)(I just need more variation), so Air Slash. Return. Return is awesome, and now that I've confirmed that it's in infinite availability, that's awesome. U-turn... Something to think about, I suppose. Roost-U-turn sorta reminds me of U-turn-Regenerator (or whatever my mienshao's ability is called)

Larvitar, finish training, evolve, get stone edge, get level, evolve, devestate the world with terrifying gentle nature (I suppose that's what you get when you hatch something that likes to fight, doesn't understand death/suffering, and knows the most devestating ground type move ever and the third/fourth most devestating rock and dark type moves from hatching)
Ooooh, we could give her a Wide Lens (Frontiers, maybe not, but Voltorb Flip is easy enough) to somewhat counter the low accuracy of stone edge! (I'd suppose Zoom Lens, but... I don't know what speed she'll have as a tyranitar)
