    . . . is really ****ing stupid.

Okay, so I'm on battle 41, the one before facing Palmer a second time and getting the second ribbon and my team is: Tyranitar, Garchomp, and Magnezone.

The battle starts and he leads with Quagsire. I Dragon Dance up and he Focus Blasts me, missing. He then Quick Claws me for a Focus Blast leaving me with 36 health. I Stone Edge him and on the proceeding turn Crunch him, KOing him. He then sends out Hippowdon which I Crunch and Life Orb takes my Tyranitar out. I send in Magnezone and finish off the Hippowdon with Hidden Power Grass. He follows up with a Mamoswine. I use Explosion thinking it will end the battle. Lol, it leaves him with 1 HP. I'm like, uh, whatever and send in Garchomp. I use Earthquake. Mamoswine "avoided the attack". Mamoswine used Fissure, Garchomp is KOed.

I proceed into a fit of cursing and arm flailing caused from what I have just witnessed. How the **** he dodged Earthquake and hit me with a Fissure, which only had 10% accuracy thanks to Sand Veil is so ****ing next to impossible that it's unbelievable. I swear to god, Game Freak made all the upper level opponents in the Battle Tower hackers and it's complete ********.

Hmmm, I see where your coming from but logic says an NPC cant hack :P

Yea, it was sarcasm, but it seems that way. The battle before that, like all my Stone Edges missed and a Ninetails confused my T-tar and he stayed confused for four turns and hit himself each turn. :/

Seems like the battle tower is against Pseudo's, when i went in with T-tar, Dragonite and Metagross i got wiped completely.

How does avoiding an attack work? Can any pokemon do it or is it a skill of some sort?

And this is what Nintendo calls fu****g replayabaility ! Go f**k yourselves if you think we'll keep playing the battle tower !

It's fake difficulty so that there will always be a challenge. Since if they were on a level playing field with you, the only way they could win is if they were smater than you. And since you can't beat humans' intelligence, there can't be a level playing field if you want to keep the challenge up for even really highly skilled players with good Pokemon.

The bias gets worse the higher you are. I think the first 21 battles don't have bias at all (although I could be wrong).

No, I'm fairly certain it's random.

After the first set of seven, they start building to counter your team. When I started my second set of seven, the guy's lead was a Bonsly that destroyed my T-tar with a Low Kick.

Yeah, the battle tower is pretty pathetic. I mean, 32bp for one move? It's way too high. I'd have much preferred a tutor who wants specific berries, at least then you can grow the ones he wants.

Situations like this, you usually say your battle was haxed. Not meaning, hacked, but you just had some bad luck on your side. With the Battle Tower you go in expecting anything can happen, even a winning situation turning bad. :\ Having said that, this post would have fit more suitably in the HG/SS - Travel Journal where all adventure posts go.

As for some posts here, you guys really don't need to be bypassing the censor. It's against the rules, and if you're caught doing it, then you can earn yourself an easy warning or infraction. So please, refrain from doing it again. All that said, just going to close the thread now, but in future, keep your posts clean and keep them in the right area or threads.
