    I was wondering what peoples thoughts were as far as HGSS, if they more like an add-on to platinum and if they're worth it in general?

    HeartGold and SoulSilver takes place in a different region that Platinum. Therefore, it's far from being considered an "add-on" to Platinum. It's actually a remake of the original Gold, Silver, and Crystal together. It keeps some older features, and includes some new ones as well. It's a very well developed game since Platinum's release and has sustained a well review as well.

    As for getting it, that's entirely up to you. It's a great game, and if you're interested in getting it then maybe check up some reviews from store reviews online and maybe read up a bit more on it to see if it's something you would like to get. Serebii's site on HG/SS gives you a pretty good deal on what it's about. Other than, that there isn't much else to say as everyone would give you something different to think about before getting it, leaving you a bit confused. Although, a majority will tell you to buy it if you liked the originals before.
