    Ohai ^^'
I've liked Pokémon since it first appeared around here, and I've been playing the games since R/B/Y.
My favorite games are the PMD spin-offs (Tho GtI was just a bad dream >.>'), but I also really like the main series, with gen3 and 4 being my favorites.
Currently, I'm trying to complete the dex in AS, along with trying to catch 9 shiny Eevees for a small self-imposed challenge ^^ (Caught my third one today. Yay me!)

I've also got a slight interest in the TCG, tho it's pretty much limited to the HG/SS series. I started collecting again when those were released, but my collection ended up being 18 cards short of being complete *sad violin* I've been looking into ways to remedy that, but I'm not really sure about how to best go about doing that. Any pointers would be very much appreciated ^^'

I like lots of other video games too, ofc, along with stupid metal music mostly of the pagan/folk/viking/pirate variety. And my favorite Pokémon is Meowth ^^

Oh, and I'm bad at introductions, in case you didn't notice already xP

Welcome to PC! It's a pleasure to have you here, and I hope you enjoy your stay with us!

This was actually a pretty good intro! It's always nice to see a little extra effort put in - it gives us so much more to talk about! :3

If you find your dex-filling stalls a little, I'd recommend checking out Trade Corner; you should be able to pick up what you need in there. It's a pretty monumentous task, after all...which is why I've only ever done it a couple of times. xD

I think eBay would probably be your best bet for those missing cards, or card-collecting forums like Pojo and the like. The only problem with those is that they tend to operate a reputation system, so you'd end up sending your cards/money first, which is always a risky proposition with complete strangers. I used to do that with Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, and whilst I only got cheated once, it was always such a nerve-wracking process, and there's no real way to follow up in the case of mishaps. eBay might have you pay slightly higher prices, but you can get the money back if you don't get the cards, so it's a lot safer. And pirate metal is surprisingly awesome! I say "surprisingly" because I don't like pirates, but I absolutely love metal, haha. Have you heard of Alestorm, by any chance?

If you need anything or just want someone to chat to, feel free to drop me a line anytime. I look forward to seeing you around on the forums~

Thanks ^^ Good to hear my first post didn't end up being too messy xP

And yeah, it sure is a pretty huge task. I've honestly only ever managed to fill regional dexes so far, but -this time- I'm determined to succeed with the whole thing. Coincidentally, original Sapphire was the first game I managed to complete the regional dex in. I still remember that soul-crushing disappointment when I realized my only "reward" for it was a stupid "Congrats! You caught them all!"-message . And the additional sting when I realized I could've gotten a Totodile if I had done it in Emerald instead. Good times, good times xP ("internet didn't exist" at the time and I hardly knew how to speak/read English, so it felt like all those years I had spent trying to figure out where to find a certain pokemon or how to evolve some other had led to nothing. But it sure was an epic adventure in its own way.)
I've checked out the trading board a bit already. It's certainly going to help speed things up a bit ^^

I'll have to try check those places for the cards as well ^^ Would be so awesome to finally have at least -ONE- complete set of cards xD Been collecting the cards on and off ever since they first appeared here, so I've got tons of them, but I've never gotten this close to catching them all before ^^'

And Alestorm is one of my favorite bands ^^

Thanks ^^ I'm from Finland myself. I now remember that I forgot to mention that in my first post xP

I'm sure I'll enjoy it here ^^ It seems like a pretty fun place.
