I lost hope in introduction threads many moons ago due to the lack of content that many provide. It's somewhat shameful, really. Your introduction has brought hope back to me. I've never really seen a new user to any community; be it this one, or another, wish someone to be having a good year and for that a praise you. It's really warming to know that a complete stranger to a community would say that and though it's a small token of curiosity, it makes all the difference and starts you off with a good impression. Already I want you to continue to come here and make a name for yourself.
I realize how challenging it is to confront yourself to a new community and have your first post being one leaving you with a good impression and you've managed to succeed gracefully. I took the liberty of checking out your profile and noticed that you already filled out the majority of it and that's another perk for you. It's nice to see that your profile is full of some information, unlike others... like myself. You have a lot of similar interests compared to my own. Though I don't draw often because I consider myself a horrid artist when it comes to pencil and paper, I do enjoy writing short stories just like you. And judging from your introduction so far and how polite you are, I'm sure they're nothing short of excellent. I'd like to read some of your work myself. There are places where you can do just that. The community here is a vast place where artists of many types can elaborate and discuss their interests together, rate others' work and share their own. Judging from the fact that you like writing short stories, drawing and reading, I can tell that you're an artist. If you have some works to share that aren't related to Pokémon, you can post them

Other Entertainment! That's the forum I moderate and I would really love for you to post a thread on tennis there. There are very few sports threads in that section and tennis, being one of the few I really enjoy playing, should be included.
I see you've also managed to find some friends along the way. I encourage you to continue to find some more. They're usually the people who make you want to stay here the most. Then you become addicted to the community due to the content. Then, I'm afraid you lose all sense of time and spend hours upon hours browsing the wonderful boards provided. With that said, feel free to contact me through visitor message and we can talk. But remember, explore other parts of the community when you're ready to leave the comfort of the New Users section. You won't regret it.
