Hi all!
Well isn't this a nice-looking Pokemon forums site! I've been looking for one to call home for a while now! I hope to make some good friends and have some intelligent conversations about Pokemon here.
Don't let my age scare you off. I might be older than most of you, but I'll always be a kid at heart, and not in the bad "dont-want-to-let-go-or-have-any-responsibilities" way, but in the good "sure-I-love-videogames-and-can-kick-ass-in-Mario-Kart-and-do-you-want-to-trade-Pokemon" way.
Sorry. I can ramble.
Anyways, I've been playing Pokemon ever since the beginning (Red Version), and am currently enjoying my Diamond Version as much as ever. I've finally completed my Pokedex (yes, that's all 493 Pokemon!) and am totally addicted to chaining for shinies (I have 2 boxes full so far).
I'm always up for trades and battles, or just to chat about Pokemon or anything!

Well it is great that you completed your dex, closest I have ever gotten was a total of...300 something Pokemon but then I just stopped by Diamond! I too, have been playing since Red/Blue and Yellow. Great games I know!

Don't feel bad about your age, there are people older than you here, and I am sure people will love to trade with you, just post around in the Wireless Trade Corner or Wireless Battle Stadium to trade your Friend Code with other people 0.0

Welcome to PC ThunderThylacine, I still play Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow Sometimes, can't get enough of em, and congrats on completing your dex, I don't even think I have all of the Sinnoh Pokemon xD. I <3 Shinies, But WOW 2 Boxes full? I wish I had that many. xD


Anywho, be sure to read all of the rules and regulations. If you need any help, I'm sure there is more than enough people that would be willing to aid you. :D

I can understand what you mean by being a kid at heart. What's the point in growing up if you can't act immature every once in a while?
I'm pretty sure you won't find too many people who will expect you to be completely mature during your stay here.

Well, I can't assure you that you will have good conversations on Pokémon, Thunder. I mean, why would there be any interesting discussions about those little Pocket Monsters on a Pokémon forum? That makes no sense at all... xD
(Seriously though, I'm sure you will find yourself participating in some great conversations. Just wait.)

I even know a 40-43 year old who still plays games. He even plays with his family. So don't think your the only one! Enjoy your stay!
