You should have no troubles finding solutions to both.
As for your first reason, may I suggest checking out the
Tutorials sub-forum over in the Game Development section? If you have not ventured over there already, I'm sure you will find it contains quite a few good references and documents for the aspiring game creator. At very least it should be a good place to start, am I right?
As for making friends.
Trust me, Rumblerum, you have absolutely nothing to fear as making friends around this particular forum is easier than snapping your fingers! The vast majority of us PC frequenters are pretty darn friendly; I'm sure any one of us would be willing to be your friend after a few conversations.
(After all, some of us like to break the ice first. ;D)
Ah, the Gundam series is pretty great, indeed. I remember liking it a lot when I was a bit younger, but I believe that was more for the nice flashy robot-styled violence in it. Perhaps I should go back through and watch some of it for the storyline now that I'm older, yes?
(I'm sure you will meet more faithful Gundam fans around here than me, however. xD)
