It's so the administrators pick the right people and not those that just want to be it. That's wrong.

I believe Furry was talking about the moderator approval system, and not the system of selecting moderators.

Any who, the system is basically just in place to prevent spam, Furry. I'm sure you can imagine all the riffraff that uncaring members try to pass off as a decent roleplay over there. Think of it as a favor to you; this way, you'll only see threads that are worthy of your RPing skills. XD
