Introduction​

Hi, I'm Franzo (in other places I may go by the name Noodles/Farlon.) I've been working on this game, on and off (more off than on) since late 2013. At the moment I've been working alone using resources from various people. The game is only currently up to the 2nd gym and I hope to get a demo out a bit before the 3rd.

Story

Five years after the final events of Pokémon Emerald, you (the hero), are finally old enough to get your very first Pokémon. Your cousin (Wally) has taken time out of his Gym Leader Schedule to help you visit the local Pokémon Proffessor. After receiving your Pokémon you are asked, by Proffessor Rayner, to go visit Captain Stern in Slateport and deliver a letter. Things get strange when you run into a gang member using a genetically engineered Pokémon to rob other trainer's Pokémon. It's soon revealed that these Pokémon have been found all across the world. This doesn't stop you from continuing on your journey but will it become a problem in the future? And when will the gang of thieves appear again?

The engineered Pokémon, named "The Delta Species", will show up along your journey, some you may be able to catch, some may be a challenge and some will cause changes to the whole environment as we know.

Characters​

The Heroes (You) (Player sprites will hopefully change)

A cousin of the Gym Leader Wally, you start your journey as a Pokémon Trainer in Verdanturf Town.
Proffessor /Gym Leader Rayner

A Pokémon Researcher who took over the Electric Mauville gym recently. She is also a leading researcher on the Delta Species.
Gym Leader Wally

Your close cousin who began his journey five years prior. He currently stays in Rustboro where he is a Psychic Gym Leader there.

Features​

• Explore the region of Hoenn years after the events of Emerald.
• Hidden Grottos, find hidden paths or small caves where rare Pokémon and items can be found.
• The first 365 Pokémon all obtainable with FRLG Graphics.
• Capture Delta Pokémon, a disease that's spreading quickly throughout the region. Alternate types, abilities and moves for Delta Pokémon.
• Choose from a variety of starters after selecting the type of your choice.
• Quest Sytem, Help people with their problems to earn rewards. Quests can be spotted by looking for people with "..." above their head.
• Different HM system, Pokémon can use HMs out of battle even if they don't know the move, they just need to be able to learn it. (A badge is still required.)
• New battle animations being made in the style of RSE/FRLG.

Firstly I'd like to say this looks really interesting. Delta Pokemon are one of my favorite features that seem to be becoming a lot more popular in these games and it's awesome to see. I loved Pokemon Emerald and it looks like you're making it even more fun. Love the Hidden Grotto and Quest additions, too.

I will certainly be keeping an eye on this one and can't wait to play the Demo. Hope there are a good amount of Deltas.

Thanks, I too really like the concept of Delta Pokémon. I'll hopefully have a demo out by August.
