I wanted to make a team with my beloved Mamoswine, and a favorites team isn't the best environment ;(

Mamoswine @ Choice Scarf ** :horns:
    Ability: Snow Cloak
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Ice Fang
    - Ice Shard
    - Earthquake
    - Stone Edge
The star of the team. He's something that can't be underestimated. Wrecks just about everything in plain sight.

    Blissey @ Leftovers
    Ability: Natural Cure
    EVs: 212 HP / 252 Def / 44 SAtk
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    - Aromatherapy
    - Ice Beam
    - Thunder Wave / Thunder
    - Softboiled
No Seismic Toss because I don't have anything left on Emerald to rack up Battle Points with =(

    Sceptile @ Choice Specs
    Ability: Overgrow
    EVs: 4 HP / 252 Spd / 252 SAtk
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    - Leaf Storm
    - Hidden Power (Fire) / Hidden Power (Rock)
    - Dragon Pulse
    - Energy Ball / Focus Blast
The stumper. I want HP Rock for general weakness coverage, but then again, people persuade me to use HP Fire for the oddest reasons that I don't know of. Which one should I go for?

    Forretress @ Leftovers
    Ability: Sturdy
    EVs: 252 HP / 80 Atk / 176 Def
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Substitute / Light Screen
    - Earthquake
    - Spikes
    - Rapid Spin
    The Amalaric Prick.

    Bronzong @ Leftovers
    Ability: Levitate
    EVs: 192 HP / 96 Atk / 88 Def / 48 SAtk / 84 SDef
    Relaxed Nature (+Def, -Spd)
    - Stealth Rock
    - Gyro Ball
    - Charge Beam
    - Grass Knot
Yeah, it's that same Bronzong from D/P Blueprints 5.

Gyarados @ Leftovers / Wacan Berry / Wide Lens
    Ability: Intimidate
    EVs: 168 HP / 76 Atk / 88 Def / 176 Spd
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    - Taunt
    - Dragon Dance
    - Waterfall
    - Stone Edge
    He's not hot. He's GREAT.
If I have enough confidence to run Wide Lens, then I'll consider Aqua Tail for more power.

Heracross rapes this team, so no need to point that out. I'll work on that part through time.

Infernape destroys this team, especially with Choice Scarf.

Focus Sash Infernape does more damage.

Ah, Hornz, eh? My Raichu still remembers him. ;)

    ._.

a X4 fire weakness is quite ridiculous, but i don't see how hera nor nape does that much damage to the team. if he finds out what type of hera/infernape it is, then he has the right counters, some of which are unexpected (sub/light screen on forretress and scarf mamo). an infernape with speed passed to it with thunderpunch and life orb would surely destroy the team (barring gyara doesn't have wacan berry), but the chances of that occurring are slim.

that being said, bronzong is the only thing that would be able to survive its weakness from infernape, and with that moveset, it's not going to be doing much damage to it.

i suppose the best you can do to counter infernape without sacrificing something on your team is to hope to get forretress in battle before nape, and set a sub immediately so it can go for the OHKO.

not a big fan of ice fang. with STAB, it's not so shabby, but i doubt it ever gets the chance to make use of it when dragons like chomp are carrying scarf and dragonite/mence have yache berry. ice shard 2HKOs them in each scenario while ice fang triumphs in one only half the time, so i don't really see the benefits of ice fang other than hitting skarm and gliscor harder. i suggest giving mamo light screen instead of ice fang. if you get a lucky faceoff for starters and know that the opponent will switch, than a sp def boost will definitely help whoever you switch in as a result. that way, you can ignore having to give forretress ls and focus on sub. just a thought.

i'd go for HP Fight if you're not going to consider Focus Blast.

gyara -- like the wide lens, but flinch on waterfall can be very helpful and i always stand by wacan berry.

I've yet to see a Choice Scarf Infernape o.O! But I understand Infernape can also make work of my team.

Kinda makes me want to consider Earthquake on it.

    Then there's that.

I did consider Focus Blast for a second, so I might actually put it to good use, pretty much to provoke Tyranitar.

gyara -- like the wide lens, but flinch on waterfall can be very helpful and i always stand by wacan berry.
I do need to lower that big throbbing Fire / Fighting weakness, so I might end up running Donphan instead of Forretress. Gotta think about it.

Regarding Sceptile, he's only there because I wanted a Sp. Sweeper that didn't share the same type weakness as Blissey. I'll look around for something else when I can.
