2nd Gen How can i play pokemon gold?

Okay, I'm 16 years old. What I'm about to say will sound extremely sad.

When i was around 5 years old i got the game "Pokemon Gold". I played this game up until around 8. 100% Completed. All Pokemon found etc.

A few months ago I really wanted to start playing it again as it was the best thing to happen to me in my childhood.

Turns out my mum had thrown out my gameboy and Pokemon gold.

I've tried looking for a ROM, however i can't find a single working one. Is their any other way i can play this game?

it should show up

Also, do you have an emulator? (VBA or NO$)? If not you need one. Search VisualBoyAdvance by google and it should work as well

Sorry I'm going to override your lock Nick, lol. But if you don't have luck with the ROMs, you could always play HeartGold, which is an updated Gold Version, provided you have a Nintendo DS or 3DS. Not totally the same, but I felt it was worth mentioning.
