    The official pokemon site:(www.pokemon.com) don't know about FRLG yet, I think :\

    They dont even know deoxys!!!! :shocked:
    How can kids/preteens/teens know more than they do! :shocked: :shocked:

    They're going to be 1,000 pages late now! :P :P
     
    They always do that, they probably know but won't tell us...they did that for Colosseum I think..I knew about it for like a year, then like 4 months before it comes out they briefly talk about it. try e-mailing them.
     
    It's one of those public secrets. Just about everyone knows, but the company refuses to officially admit anything until THEY choose to. After all, that's their luxury. If they don't want the world to know that they officially acknowledge Deoxys, they can do so. After all, telling everyone everything ruins some of the power they hold over the buyers. If they told everyone about FRLG the second it started development in Japan, people here would be sitting and waiting and waiting and waiting, and eventually lose interest. As it is, some people don't yet know, and thus will be surprised when the info is released, and the surprise alone may convince them to buy the game.

    Especially saying that the game contains secrets not previously available in the original games. That'll hook buyers like crazy, without releasing any major details.

    It's just like thow the name "May" was decided by Nintendo. Since "Haruka" was the RS girl character and TV Tokyo/ShoPro named the girl that travels with Ash "Haruka" (mainly because it is Haruka) 4Kids was forced to use "May". It ain't 4Kids fault, it's Nintendo's fault.

    Well, it's not like they don't know. It's just they're trying to keep the American (and global to a certain extent) Pokemon poulation who don't go on unnoficial sites such as Serebii.net or PPN in suspense for some sort of "surprise" Pokemon that will come up in the 7th movie and FR/LG. It's all down to clever people knowing when to release information like that officially to create maximum impact. Stupid Nintendo bigwigs...
