Question: How did PC cope with username changes?

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I recall correctly, the reason PC didn't do username changes was because it would have had caused major problems with the server. How did the admins fix this? Just curious. It's very impressive.
     
    Ohh. Did the new vBulletin updates help in any way?
     
    vBulletin's really outdated and tends to be more a hindrance than a help for the admins, haha. It was primarily made possible by a server upgrade on our part and the changes to code mentioned just now. We've not actually made major updates to vB itself for a while now; PC mostly moves forward by changes we make ourselves. Although I'm not 100% sure that there was no vB update involved since I wasn't an admin at that time.
     
    It's still legal to keep alt accounts then?
