How did VirGen win Worlds?

    I noticed the Masters Championship winner used a deck which featured no anti counter pokemon.
    What gets to me is how he made past all of the pyroars, sigilyph, latias EX, and suicune. He didn't even run Virbank.

    this is starting to make me wonder how bad counter decks are.
