How do colour palettes work on the GB games? Crystal Hack

    I'm hacking crystal and have discovered a lot of colour palette coding but it's very different to the 255 255 255 RGB I'm used to.

    It is in fact 31 31 31.

    Does anyone have a translater or a list of what each RGB code means?

    is it as simple a deviding the 255 into sections of 8?
