3rd Gen How do I get a houndour in LG

How do I get a Houndour in Leaf green? Do I breed for it? What do i do?
First of all i have to beat the Elite Four right?

Altering Cave and this is more better suited in Simple Questions.

You can't get Houndour in FRLG. The Altering Cave was originally meant to hold Pokemon like Houndour, but NoA killed it off when NoJ released Emerald and Colosseum. All you'll find in there are Zubats now.

Whats a good pokemon to defeat Lance?('cause I can get to him, but I have no pokemon that he'll do bad against)

Use a Starmie with Ice Beam.

Whatever. Anything with Ice Beam will do. I just picked Starmie cause it's faster than all of Lance's Pokemon if it's on the same level range.

Where you caught Articuno,which is in Seafoam Islands,Catch a seel and evolve it into Dewgong and then teach him these attacks:Rest,Ice Beam,Snore,Blizzard. equip Dewgong with Nevermelt Ice and Lance will be a piece of Cake. :rambo:

I know Mystic trunks, I already have a dewgong I own 100 pokemon
plus I have mastered blue version so I know where all the old pokemon are except the new ones etc with all the improvements

To answer your previous question, Houndours can be caught in the new areas of the Safari Zone in Emerald or you can send a Houndoom over from Pokemon Col. and breed.
