4th Gen How do I get Surfing pikachu???

    ok, i got the yellow forest in my pokewalker and i collect over 10,000 steps everyday. whenever i encounter a pikachu with !! or even !!! its ALWAYS a flying pikachu or one with volt tackle. iv been doing this now for over a week and its very frustrating, all i want is one that knows surf, just one, but instead i get like 15 flyers!!! WHY CANT I CATCH ONE??!! if anyone knows why this is happening and has any advice it would be most appreciated. Thank you
     
    Have you taken your Pokemon out of the walker since you started?

    Every time you put a Pokemon back in the walker, it makes the random choice of either Surfer or Flier from Group A. If you haven't taken it out and put it back in at all, then it'll never change from what you had in the first place.

    Now, if you HAVE been swapping in and out, then... Well, I'm not sure what to tell you. That's really just bad luck, and you need to keep trying, I guess.

    Tyros pretty much said it all there. You must remove your Pokémon from the walker for you to change which Pokémon you run into, this case either a Flying or Surfing Pikachu. You pretty much understand the rest as it is, but other than that you it's up to luck as well.
