4th Gen how do u catch cressila

i have tried several times and all failed it has like 2 life left
other than a masterball
how do u catch this thing
also what move should i use to keep if from fleeing

This should be in the Q&A thread but the answer is simple. Use Mean Look and it will be trapped then use any type of pokeball you have available resorting to masterball only if need be.

I would use Mean Look. Mean Look can be taught to Gastly, Haunter, and Gengar the earliest, at level 8. If I were you, I would catch a Gastly from the Old Chateau, and then go to the Move Re-learner at southeast Pastoria City. Then, make it hold a Quick Claw, which can be found in a house in Jubilife City (I can't remember which one), so the Gastly will have a 18.75% chance of going first. You could also train it until its fast enough to go first.

on diamond, i got a masterball from a pokemon someone traded with me

i used crowbat that new meanlook, then i used a few attacks then threw 4 ultra balls, 7 quick balls before i caught it

Using a pokemon with Mean Look is generally a good strategy, then just chuck Ultra Balls at it pretty much.
