how do you change your character and starter pokemon

I would like to know how to change your character and change the starter pokemon. I heard that you can do that stuff on this webpage. Is it true? Plus, how do you do it?

Wait, you're talking about the GBA / DS games, right? You can't unless you start the game over.

If you're talking about changing the sprites and the starters you can choose from, go to "creative discussions-> Rom Hacking-> Documents and Tutorials" from the Pokecommunity main page.

There's also a ton of other thing you can do with the stuff there. You can change maps, change events, and do pretty much anything with a Pokemon game if you know how.
