I would really like to know this. If you do know, please answer
    1.what materials do you need,
    2.what program do you need
3.any thing that is important that I did not list up here.

I would like to get Videos and screen shots from a video game of mine, but I do not know what to do.

You can do it one of two ways. The easier way is to buy a TV tuner card. This will come with some software which allows you to watch and record TV on your PC. Otherwise, you can record it and then transfer it. This can be done by using a DVD recorder with your TV, finalising the recorded disc and then transferring it to your PC using a regular DVD drive, or by recording TV to VHS and then buying an analogue capture card (many TV tuner cards also come with this capability) to transfer the recording to your computer. You need to make sure your computer is fast enough for on-the-fly recording, and also that you have a lot of disk space. If you don't have a lot of disk space you'll need an even faster computer so that it can compress video on-the-fly, or else your capture card/TV tuner card needs to have hardware compression capabilities.
