    This thread is how to say pokemon names...haha...Like how to pronounce them, like I thought it was bonslee but the show brock says bonslie...so how do you say mismagius?
     
    Cool. Thanks...for some reason I always thought it was call mismagus...I never saw the i until yesterday. haha...it is worth it to reaise it? I have it at level 55.

    It's a decent Ghost type... outdone by Gengar as far as offensive potential, but she really has decent Special Defense. I'd say worth raising.

    I've always been confused as to how to pronounce Milotic; I mean, which syllable to accent.

    I pronounced Treecko once Treko
    and Rayquaza - Rayquaza instead of Rayquesa when I heard it in Destiny Deoxys

    I pronounce "mismagius" as Miss-Maje-ee-us.

    And "Giratina" as either "Gerr-a-teen-ah" or "Gy-rah-teen=uh"

    Giratina, Id say is Jir-a-TEE-nuh

    The TV show does weird stuff too =/
    Milotic = My-LO-tic o.0
    Rayquaza = Ray-QUAY-za
    Bagon = BAY-gon
    ...and so on...
     
    I've seen many arguments on the pronunciation of Phione.

    I personally pronounce it "Feeown." But others say it should be "Fee-own-neh" (like the Japanese pronunciation)

    Another is Arceus. I used to pronounce it "Ark-ee-us," now I'll sometimes say that or "Ar-see-us."

    I remember when Ruby and Sapphire first came out I pronounced Meditite "Med-it-it-tee" xD And I used to pronounce Pidgeot "Pid-GEE-ot"

    I used to pronounce Mismagius "MIS-magus" (it sounds kinda weird when I say it like that xD) until I took a good look at the name. Now I say "Mis-MAG-ius." And I don't think I've ever really said Giratina out loud. I guess it'd be like, "Ji-ra-TEE-na."

    Did anyone ever learn how to pronounce Suicune? Was it Swee-coon or Soowee coon or Sway coon?
     
    Back in the days of G/S I used to pronounce Suicune as Suicine (Suicide with an n). I still think that sounds better than Swee-coon.
