How do you think Sun and Moon will fit in with the Continuity of the Pokémon Universe?

    So, if this is the official timeline of the Pokémon universe...

    [PokeCommunity.com] How do you think Sun and Moon will fit in with the Continuity of the Pokémon Universe?


    ...how/when do you think Sun and Moon will fit into it? Will they be taking place after the events of X and Y? My theory is that they might be taking place before the events of Red/Blue and Ruby/Sapphire and that this is actually the story of the first Pokémon League being formed.

    It takes place after XY. Dexio and Sina reference the events that happened in XY when they give you the Zygarde cube.
     
    I say 3 years after X/Y, cuz that's how long it's been since said games were released.
