...get Pokemon to EV status or whatever? I mean how can you make Pokemon get better in their attack, speed, defense, etc.? I thought Pokemon just evolved and they gained pretty much the stats that they needed and there was no big way of altering it. I know you can give them protein and all those other things, but is that what people do? Just feed 'em tons of those things? How many can you give a Pokemon?

Sorry, I'm a total Newbie (as my name implies) so I'd appreciate some help on getting Pokemon to be stronger.

EDIT: I searched EV Guide and I don't get anything, instead I get a bunch of other topics and more than 20 pages. -_- Can someone at least give me a link to it? If not how to search for it properly, please.
