Question: How does "Ignore Post Formatting" work?

    I have the "Protect my eyes" checkbox checked in the Options in my User CP.

    Yet I see people with dark, black or purple or something colored text which is hardly visible on the black background of the default theme.

    It's a pain to read what they say, and it actually burns my eyes with all the weird colors being used by people. Is it that the option does not work, or is there a different option I should use.
     
    If I recall correctly, and forgive me if I'm wrong but I believe the feature is not yet fully implemented and will not work even if you do tick the box.
    From what I see, it seems unlikely that you are wrong...

    If that is the case, PC should fix it up... :/

    Last I knew, it didn't quite work anyway. :s So both are right. I think.

    Ask Ausaudriel if he's implemented that code yet. xD;
