I was wondering becuse I just got a Dratini and I wondered if I should try and raise it up.

Yes,raise it.it will be one of the best pokemon you have ever raised.

How hard is it to raise level wise, and can it be a pokemon that you activly raise, meaning, rasie it while you play the game, allowing it to battle and stuff
or only after you beat the game???

note: I only have Gold and Silver no Salemance

Yeah you can raise it up before you beat the game, infact it would probably be better if you did.Dragons just take a little longer to level up though.

Dragonite rocks! *flails arm* I love it! Rasing a Dratini is very much worth it, because they're very rare to find, I've heard.

you can sit in the safari zone anfd catch one after about 10 mins
or you could go buy one from the games corner
then breed about million of them like i did ^^

I agree, I am in Goldenrod and just bought a dratini,

could someone give me a moveset for a dratini comparable to where I am in the game (GOldenrod in Silver Version)

as well as a good final version of a moveset for Dragonite

if u read correctly, he uses c/s/g

Kirby, that information is still important, since its level moves don't change...

Dragonite is as strong as Tyranitar so I guess its pretty good with some physical attacks, and its Sp. Atk isn't bad at all. The only thing its lacking IMO is Speed.

But I consider this as its selling point. Dragonite is allowed to take a nature that nerfs speed instead of one of the 2 attacks, allowing it to mix sweep effectively. Even with a speed down nature though, it's not slow enough to be slower than Breloom and Smeragle, so you still got a good speed to take down some relatively slow yet dangerous Pokemon. On the other hand, the slow speed will always ensure that you pull off a sub after opponent's sweeper, allowing you to subpunch easily.

Or you can just give him Thunder Wave if you wanna strike first...

GSC? Why would you use Dragonite in a stallfest of a metagame?

Well, I guess you can make a BL/UU team with it, but really...

Also, fixed, since Kirby apparently has better english skills =) (btw, fix your bad spelling and you'd be all set!)
