Based on this chart and the release of each version for the main series, I can most likely determine how long Pokemon XY: The Series (Ash's travels with the Kalos gang) is going to last (filler and all):

    Pre-Anime? - Red & Green
    Season 1 - Red & Blue
    Season 2 - Yellow
    Season 3 - Gold
    Season 4 - Silver
    Season 5 - Crystal
    Season 6 - Ruby
    Season 7 - Sapphire
Season 8 - Emerald (Since they were still finishing up Hoenn and Emerald wasn't released yet)
Season 9 - FireRed & LeafGreen (Kanto Remake; Ash returns to Kanto for his travels)
    Season 10 - Diamond
    Season 11 - Pearl
    Season 12 - Platinum
Season 13 - HeartGold & SoulSilver (Johto Remake; they shoehorned Johto elements)
    Season 14 - Black
    Season 15 - White
Season 16 - Black 2 & White 2 (Frozen Unova; They deliberately stalled with a pointless filler region and a watered-down Team Plasma)
    Season 17 - X
    Season 18 - Y
    Season 19 - Z?
Season 20 - OmegaRuby & AlphaSapphire (Hoenn return or shoehorned Hoenn elements)

I think we have at least three years to look forward to with this one, because commonly they've all lasted at least three or four years. I've noticed that Best Wishes was the shortest one so far, so I'm not sure what that means for X and Y, buuuut hopefully they give it three years.

I'm thinkin' the ORAS won't get an anime series of it's own, though. At most we might get X and Y referencing Hoenn for a bit, rather than an entire arc. D:

I think it'll go the way of DP and be at least 4 seasons. I personally don't think we'll get a OR/AS remake Series, I think it'll just be referenced throughout the series. Why really would they need to do Hoenn again?

The Hoenn Mega' Evolutions will get parts in upcoming eps of X/Y but I doubt they'll get anything more than a special episode or such.

With these newer games being released so soon, it wouldn't surprise me if the XY series only lasted two years, consisting of three seasons. If the trend of releasing games continues, the next games after ORAS will likely be the seventh generation games, being released around December 2015/January 2016. XY, which is still in its first season, has been on the air for about seven month (dub), and will continue to stay on its first season until at least November this year (if all episodes that have aired in Japan will be included in the dubbed XY's first season). That's at least 10 months for one season. If that stays true for season two of XY, it will air from November 2014 to September 2015 at the earliest, which leaves at the most 6 months, enough for a shorter season of Pokémon that may or may not take place in Kalos.

There won't be any series about ORAS !
Megevolution Act II is going to do the advertisement for it .
And ''Pokemon Z'' will come out probably when the series will be in its third phrase.
So The Main question is , What kind of filler Saga we will see during XY ? Another Da Journey .
I know , Nobody want another Da Journey So only a hopelessly idiotic producer will allow another Da Journey.
After all , Pokemon is a third category Kid Anime which are written in Shouene style.(Source Wikipedia , Kodome Manga/Anime)
However One can Dream that ---

--Ash finally win the Kalo League and stay Lumoise city to train for his battle in ''Champion League'' while helping Clemont in creating ''Super-Training'' .

--He also join ''Looker Agency'' and start solving various mystery involving Pokemon crime. (Looker teach him ''Investication)

--Furthermore , Ash has adventure with different character in every episode. There no longer a thing call Cast character because anybody can be a cast.

--Next series , Ash appear as a
''Superintendent'' & a ''Legendary Champion'' who helps the new protagonist .

It might sound ridiculous But DA JOURNEY WAS EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS !
