How make Pokemon Walking Sprites move in place?

    Hi!
    I'm trying to create a part of the game where you receive your starter Pokémon, and it moves in place in front of you when you get it. How would I make that work?
    I already have the walking sprites, but I'm just unsure on how to do it.

    For events you can turn on 'stop animation' which causes it to do the walking animation on repeat. If it's just a single step, you can use a move route with either something like step animation or change graphic and then chose the frame you want it to show.

    Not at my pc atm, so I can't check.
